Consul General Mr. Ravi Shanker Goel called on Acting Regional Secretary of Riau Province, H.E. Indra SE., MM (7 August 24). Both discussed and explored the cooperation in education, capacity building, economics and trade. Consul General briefed him of Indian scholarships under ICCR and ITEC also. H.E. Indra SE., MM thanked CG Mr. Ravi Shanker Goel for choosing Riau Province as his first visit outside North Sumatra and looked forward to enhanced cooperation with India. H.E. Indra look forward to cooperate in improving the quality of the officials in Riau Province Government and sending their officials to study in India. His excellency also briefed the Consul General about the investment opportunities in Riau Province. Consul General assured him full support to strengthen the relationship and cooperation with Riau Province"
