The Consulate General of India, Medan celebrated Hindi Day on Sunday, 22 September 2024 in association with IEAM and LPGISA by organising an International Hindi Poetic Meet "India-Indonesia Everlasting Friendship" to promote usage of Hindi language. Senior faculty from North Sumatra University also participated. The event was also supported by Toba Pulp Lestari. Hindi Poets not only from Medan but from many parts of Indonesia and outside Indonesia also participated and recited their poems. Young Indonesian children presented Indonesian and Indian cultural performances. Friends of India also took part in the event. The event also saw a Hindi Poems Book Release specifically highlighting the strong relationship between two great countries - India and Indonesia.. #75thIndiaIndonesia
