The Consulate General of India in Medan, in collaboration with DPC IWAPI Medan City and Bank Indonesia, organised a seminar titled “Empowering Local Entrepreneurs” on September 25, 2024. The event aimed to boost financial literacy and sustainable business growth among women and young entrepreneurs. Consul General Mr. Ravi Shanker Goel emphasized the importance of financial literacy for MSMEs, highlighting its role in securing business funding. The event featured key insights from Bank of India and State Bank of India, the two Indian banks having branch offices in Medan for supporting local entrepreneurs in Medan with practical financial literacy guidance including how to open bank account, preparation of financial proposals, etc. #75thIndiaIndonesia
