Flag unfurling ceremony on 76th Republic Day

The celebration of 76th Republic Day of India commenced in the morning with an event held with full zeal and patriotic fervour in the Chancery Garden of the Consulate. The celebration was attended by approx 200 people from all walks of life, among them were the representatives of the Indian community, friends of India in Indonesia and CGI Medan officials & family members. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Consul General Shri Ravi Shanker Goel, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter Consul General addressed the gathering. Cultural & Patriotic programme was held on the occasion.
