Reception ceremony on 76th Republic Day

Reception was organized by the CGI Medan at Grand Ball Room, Grand City Hotel, Medan. Around 300 guests, including Mr. Rico Waas, Mayor elect, Medan city; Dr. Maulana, Mayor elect, Jambi City; senior government officials of various provinces of Sumatra island; Consul Generals, Honorary Consuls, members of KADIN, Indian citizens, Academician, Businessmen, Indian origin Indonesians and Friends of India attended the function. Consul General, Mr. Ravi Shanker Goel addressed the gathering. During the celebration, Indian classical and Bollywood performances were also presented. Post also showcased a short video, highlighting the recent events organised by the Consulate. A short video of delegation of President of Indonesia, H.E. Prabowo Subianto was also played during reception during his official visit as Chief Guest on 76th Day of Republic Day parade in Delhi, India.
