Indian Film Festival at Graha Toba Pulp Lestari, Lake Toba on 21.03.2025

Consulate General of India in Medan in association with Toba Pulp Lestari celebrated Indian Film Festival at Graha Toba Pulp Lestari, Lake Toba, North Sumatra on 21.3.2025. On this occasion, a famous Indian movie “English Vinglish” was screened in Bahasa language with subtitle in English Language. The movie was watched by more than 1400 persons at Graha Toba Pulp Lestari, Lake Toba, North Sumatra along with representatives of Bupati, Regents, Wakil Bupati, senior officers of local government, police, students and Friends of India. Senior management of Toba Pulp Lestari welcomed the guests and Consul General Mr. Ravi stated in his address that the screening of this movie will further strengthen the cultural bond between two countries – INDONESIA - Mitra Selamanya, Partners Forever. He also expressed that this movie is a source of inspiration for today’s generation especially for the youth who want to learn English Language.
